Gema b.Spain 1994, has studied a degree in fine Arts in England and later Specialised in Decorative Painting and Restoration at the Van Der Kelen school for decorative painting in Belgium. She has dedicated herself to the restoration of Modernists buildings in Barcelona as well as her various personal artistic projects. For all her work she makes her own handmade organic paints. This technique not only harks back to the origins of painting but also acts as an environmentally friendly option to modern plastic-based paints by replacing the chemical elements with elements of plant or mineral origin through recycling processes and organic cultivation. Gema's Ecological paints respect the environment, do not give off toxic and harmful gases to nature, and are also biodegradable.
